Not quite yellow but close enough that it gets the job done. Not quite yellow but close enough that it gets the job done. Since installing I have not have a problem with bugs swarming around by outdoor lights. I have five outdoor lights and the bugs leave a mess on my siding when I use white lights. These bulbs have solved that problem. They do have a somewhat green cast to the yellow and if that bothers you then look elsewhere. My old style incandescent yellow bulbs would always quickly burn out but these LED bulbs should last a very long time. I will…

Nice lights I live on a road with no streetlights, so it’s obviously very dark at night. I have an outdoor light @ my front door, and one on either side of my garage. These LED bulbs draw only 8 Watts of power, yet are as bright as a regular incandescent 60 Watt bulb. So all 3 being on all night are only using 24 Watts. Because they’re yellow, they’re not bug-magnets. Lights up the whole front of my house without being obnoxious.

Bright and effective. We are very pleased with these bulbs. We live fairly close to the Everglades, so we have a year-round bug problem, but we also like to turn on our outside lights at night. For years, we used yellow incandescent bulbs, which were inefficient and also burned out often. We then went to a CFL bulb with a shield/cover that made them appear conventional, but those are now difficult to find.
